Ideal Seal 490 is a heat activated foil tape that offers a consistent and dependable closure method for fiberglass duct board systems. The product is made with a laminated aluminum foil/fiberglass skrim backing, and a heat activated adhesive system. UL 181-A listed for use on all fiberglass duct board insulation systems.

Suggested end use
Ideal Seal 490 is designed for use in sealing joints and seams in fiberglass duct board insulation systems. Use of an approved heating iron or closure machine is recommented to achieve maximum performance.
